Zokos Growth Engine Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Zokos ("Zokos", "we", "us") handles information in Zokos Growth Engine (the "Application"), the internal marketing and store-operations software described on the Zokos Growth Engine page. It covers the information the Application receives from Google APIs. Shopping on zokos.com is covered by the store's store privacy policy.

1. Who uses the Application

The Application is used only by Zokos and its authorized staff to run Zokos's own business. It is not offered to the public and does not ask members of the public or Zokos customers to sign in with Google.

2. Information we access from Google

With the authorization of Zokos's account administrators, the Application connects only to Google accounts that Zokos owns or manages:

  • Google Ads: campaign, ad group and ad settings, budgets, bids, targeting, conversion settings and performance reports (impressions, clicks, cost, conversions).
  • Google Merchant Center: Zokos's product listings, their approval status and their performance.
  • Google Analytics: aggregated measurements of the zokos.com website and its sales.
  • Basic account information: when an authorized Zokos staff member connects a Google account, the account's email address and name may be used to identify who authorized the connection.

The Application does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Contacts or any personal Google data of members of the public.

3. How we use it

We use information from Google APIs only to operate Zokos's own marketing and sales: to create, change, pause and report on Zokos's advertising campaigns, to keep Zokos's product listings accurate, and to measure whether advertising is profitable for Zokos.

4. Google API Services User Data Policy

Zokos Growth Engine's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:

  • We do not sell information received from Google APIs.
  • We do not use it to serve advertising based on a person's Google data, and we do not transfer it to data brokers or information resellers.
  • We do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
  • We do not use it to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
  • People do not read it except as needed to operate and secure the Application, to comply with the law, or with the consent of the person concerned.

5. Sharing

We do not share information received from Google APIs with third parties, except with service providers that host or secure the Application under confidentiality obligations, when required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Zokos, our customers or others.

6. Storage, security and retention

The Application stores information on systems controlled by Zokos. Access is limited to authorized staff, connections to Google use encrypted HTTPS, and access credentials are kept in restricted configuration files. We keep information only as long as needed to run and evaluate Zokos's marketing, normally no longer than 25 months for advertising reports, and delete it when it is no longer needed.

7. Your choices

A Google account holder who authorized the Application can withdraw that access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To ask us to delete information associated with your Google account, email support@zokos.com.

8. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
